EVERY voter needs to vote NO on changing the KS Constitution, and we encourage 𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝘁𝗼 𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗞𝗦 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘆 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 in the Democratic primary for KS Governor. Early voting has started! Cindy Holscher ran for office 10 years ago because she saw everyday Kansans being hurt by harmful legislative actions. As governor, she’ll continue answering to Kansans - 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙤𝙪𝙩-𝙤𝙛-𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙨. In the KS Legislature, Holscher has *always* voted for public education. She worked with Republicans to help end the Brownback experiment that gave tax cuts to the very wealthiest Kansans at the expense of public schools and critical state services. She knows the realities of working with legislators from across the state and can effect compromise. While in office, Holscher has also worked tirelessly to elect other officials who support commonsense legislation and public education. She listens to her constituents, not big-money backers. Holscher voted NO on the costly, unnecessary “Cell Phone Ban,” knowing that school districts in her Senate district actively opposed it. She holds regular town hall meetings for both her constituents and residents in surrounding areas whose state senators don’t hold public town halls.
